Summary 0000025: Better support in hitstats for multiple hit types and damage counting
Description Current hitstats does not separate different hit types (bludgeon, axe/blade, brawling, hth?). This is a non-trivial issue, because some hit messages overlap, but some support could be implemented.

Also giving user control of what types should be counted (e.g. "I only use bludgeons and axes", dismiss other types) would simplify matters in some cases.

Approximage damage counting might also be nice, but would require extensive research...
Additional Information Some cleanups have already been made in hitstats, support for configuration and messages for many types are needed. Damage counting implementation would be trivial, except for the research itself.

Alpha-version of improved hit-statistics was introduced in v0.7.x development series (v0.6.9.5-svn) .. feedback about it's performance and bugs is needed.
